This is an IMITATION Eco Pur filter, manufactured by Pleatco.
The filter media is made of Microban instead of the patented
Eco Pur media, and has a blue color. Please note, Microban is
not a sanitizer. Therefore, this IMITATION Eco Pur filter will
NOT reduce the amount of chemicals used in your hot tub. Only
the original Eco Pur filters (
X268055/X268056) contain the
patented natural sanitizers that will give you the benefit of
reduced chemical usage.
Unfortunately, there are some websites touting this filter as
the "Master Spas Eco Pur Filter X268055," and the "Eco Pur
Mineral Cartridge Replacement for Master Spas."
Don't be mislead by these statements!
